Pink Rose
The history of the pink rose is among the earliest types of roses that we know about. In fact, when roses were first grown most of them were different shades of a pink rose. Even the earliest wild roses were mostly found to be a type of pink rose. With time and more cultivation, pink roses began to develop their own refined special meaning. And while most colors of roses symbolize both gratitude and love, the pink rose is the type of rose that most strongly expresses these emotions. Depending on the shade of pink rose, the meaning can differ as well. For example, a dark pink rose symbolizes thanks and light pink roses symbolize admiration or sympathy.
When caring for your any type of roses, be sure to store them in a cool place until you are ready to put them on display—your refrigerator can be a great help when storing your fresh roses. When your flowers are being displayed, provide them with adequate water and keep them away from heat vents or cold air returns. To help your flowers last longer, you can also add a little plant food to the water. Roses are a pretty hardy type of flower and can last up to a couple of weeks with proper care. And though roses may not last forever, there are few things as beautiful. Take care when choosing different colors of roses to ensure that you are sending the right message to the people that you care about.
